Minox DCC 5.1 is a classic mini digital camera that will soon available in market with price about €199. Although Minox DCC 5.1 has classic shape and looks like an antique camera and it has 5 MP resolutions with small size (only 82 x 46 x 67 mm) and weight only 120 g. The gossip in internet “said” that Nikon is still doing advanced development for digital camera with a projector in it. Reportedly that the new version of the pocket digital camera with projector is not only able to play movies or display images, but it can also be used like a mini projector. So indirectly, this digital camera can be connected to a computer / notebook and it can be used as a projector. The name of the projector digital camera is still unknown, still unconfirmed, but if it’s true, it should be launched this August. Let’s wait and see the progress.

Samsung has show a new prosumer digicam called Samsung WB5500 as the competitor of Olympus SP-590 UZ prosumer digicam. Olympus SP-590 UZ & Samsung WB5500 has same optical zoom, they has 26x optical zoom. Something that makes different between Olympus SP-590 UZ and Samsung WB5500 is Samsung WB5500 has bigger resolution, it has 14 Megapixels. Samsung WB5500 has been shows at the Photo & Imaging exhibition in Seoul 2010.
